Weather In The Algarve
The Algarve is characterised by blue skies, sunshine and warm temperatures in spring, autumn and winter - and even more sun and high temperatures in the summer.
Year round, flowers and vegetation grow in abundance, thanks to the region's sub tropical climate.

Average Temperatures
The Algarve has an all-year- round mild climate, avoiding frosts in winter and extreme heat in the summer. Having said that, in 2003 and 2004 the August temperatures consistently exceeded 30 degrees C. As a result we have now installed air conditioning!

Sunshine
The Algarve boasts more sunshine hours than California. Even in the winter, the Algarve is one of the sunniest spots in Europe with an average of 7 hours each day. In July and August, the sun shines for an average of 12 hours each day.
